About
Operator turned data engineer.
I started in operations, running high-growth markets and learning businesses from the floor up. The throughline never changed: the answer was usually sitting in the data, if someone could get it out and put it in front of the right person.
These days I am a forward-deployed engineer. I embed with PE-backed teams and build the whole stack, from Python pipelines that pull data out of systems with no API (EMRs, legacy ERPs, you name it), to a warehouse on Microsoft Fabric, to the Power BI and automation people actually use. The reporting that used to take an analyst days now refreshes on its own, and the hours that frees up go to the questions nobody has had time to answer.
I work from first principles and pick the right tool for the job, not the familiar one. The problem is almost never the industry: messy data is messy data. I have gone deepest in specialty healthcare and PE-backed operations, but the same playbook works anywhere, and I like helping small businesses get the same leverage. Nashville based, family first, Eagle Scout, and happiest when something that used to be broken just quietly works now.

Tools I reach for
Work with me
Tennessee Data Lab is how I do this at scale.
Same hands on the build, whether it is a PE-backed platform or a local business that just needs the manual work to stop. If you have a report your team rebuilds every week or a question nobody has had time to answer, that is where we start.
